I live in Davos, Graubünden (GR), and Oekingen, Solothurn (SO), Switzerland.
I am a retired certified radiology technician (MTR HF) and the founder of Artquiltgalerie, established in 2010.
I am happily married to Joe and proud mother of three adult children.
Screen printing, traditional resist techniques, and the dyeing of cotton fabrics form the foundation of my creative practice. From these processes, I develop designs and bodies of work in series, exploring and interpreting shapes, impressions, and realities.
Through sewing, drawing, and quilting, the fabrics acquire their distinctive structure, texture, and depth.
“I never actually set out to become an artist. My love of creating began during the many years we spent living abroad. At the time, I enjoyed designing fabric books and small souvenirs for my children. These ‘Stitch Stories’ became quite popular.”
