Statement
My work is driven by a core principle: combining symbolism and values with the facts of everyday life in both the visual picture and the craft. This approach seeks to find deeper meaning within daily realities and societal structures.
Well, the textile creations narrate stories through colors, shapes, and materials. Initially focused on personal ideas, the work evolved to include figurative elements. Techniques like quilting and embroidery deepen the narrative, transforming printed textiles into intricate pieces that reflect some personal interpretations, captivating audiences with their layered meanings.
The decision to use textiles as a medium was inspired by both historical and current art research. This conceptual foundation is evident in several of my major series, including The Blue Brain, The Missis Braini, The Interpretations, and The Radiations. Additionally, my series entitled "Extras" is primarily based on interpretations and emphases of active and pictorial contemporary components of our current century.
The creative process is characterized by the spontaneous implementation of ideas in color and form, reflecting an energetic and intuitive workflow. I actively observes people and interprets their activities from daily life. A key focus is placed on the human features of concentration and individuality.
